What will you receive?

With our Manuscript Editing Service, we will track all the edits using the ‘Track Changes’ feature in Microsoft Word. This lets you easily review them. We will also provide a summary of the edits and highlight any concerns and/or suggestions to improve the writing and content, if necessary.

Manuscript Proofreading Service

Think of our Manuscript Proofreading Service as ‘manuscript polishing’. It provides a final check of your manuscript by getting up ‘close and personal’.

We focus on the small, but important, things such as missing letters in words, or missing words in sentences; the incorrect or inconsistent use of commas, semi-colons and dashes; wrong page numbers in cross-references; errors with numerals; and errors with text headings. These are just a few of the things we proofread for.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO EDIT MY MANUSCRIPT?

Yes. Confidentiality is very important to us and your manuscript will be kept confidential. Unless otherwise requested, we will destroy our copy of your manuscript seven days after completion.
WHAT FORMAT DOES MY MANUSCRIPT NEED TO BE IN?
Your manuscript needs to be in Microsoft Word. We will use the ‘Track Changes’ feature in Microsoft Word when editing/proofreading your document. If you don’t know how to use Track Changes, don’t worry. It’s simple and we’ll talk you through it.
CAN I CONTACT THE EDITOR BEFORE/DURING/AFTER THE EDITING PROCESS?
Yes, absolutely. This is one aspect that sets Champion Editing apart from many other online editing providers. We will edit your document within the agreed timeframe and then email you a preview of the edited version. At this point, you will pay us, and once payment is received, we will release the entire edited document to you. Champion Editing believes this is the fairest way to operate as it protects both you as the client, and us as the editing provider.

For large documents, such as theses, we may require a deposit before we begin editing. We will discuss this with you when your document is submitted.
