HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO EDIT MY DOCUMENT?

We will edit your document as quickly as possible. We understand that you have a deadline and we will do our best to work with you to meet it. Ultimately, the turnaround time depends on the length of your document.

We also offer an express service whereby we will prioritize your document for a surcharge.

WILL YOU KEEP MY DOCUMENT CONFIDENTIAL?

Yes. Confidentiality is very important to us and your document will be kept confidential. Unless otherwise requested, we will destroy our copy of your document seven days after completion.

WHAT FORMAT DOES MY DOCUMENT NEED TO BE IN?

Your document needs to be in Microsoft Word (or PowerPoint). We will use the track changes feature in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint when editing/proofreading your document. If you don’t know how to use track changes, don’t worry. We’ll talk you through it.

CAN I CONTACT THE EDITOR BEFORE/DURING/AFTER THE EDITING PROCESS?

Yes, absolutely. This is one aspect that sets Champion Editing apart from many other online editing providers. You will have unlimited direct contact with the editor who is working on your document. However, it is important that you give us as much information as possible before we start editing. Once you receive the edited copy, we welcome any questions or comments you may have about the suggested edits.

WHAT STYLE GUIDE DO YOU USE?

We can use any style guide you require. This may be a journal/university-specific style guide, or a guide such as APA style or The Chicago Manual of Style. If your style guide is not publicly available, please provide this when submitting your document.

WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU EDIT DOCUMENTS FROM?

Anywhere! Our service is available to anyone anywhere in the world.

HOW DO I PAY?

We accept credit card and PayPal. Please see our Pricing and Payment page for more details.

WHEN DO I PAY?

You pay once the job is complete. Unlike many other online editing providers, we do not require an upfront payment.

We will edit your document within the agreed timeframe and then email you a preview of the edited version. At this point, you will pay us, and once payment is received, we will release the entire edited document to you. Champion Editing believes this is the fairest way to operate as it protects both you as the client, and us as the editing provider.

For large documents, such as theses, we may require a deposit before we begin editing. We will discuss this with you when your document is submitted.

DO YOU CHECK FOR PLAGIARISM?

No. We do not check for plagiarism. That responsibly is yours.

DO YOU CHECK FOR COPYRIGHT REQUIREMENTS?

No. We do not check for any copyright requirements. That responsibly is yours.

DO YOU FACT CHECK?

No, we are not responsible for the accuracy of the content of the document.

CAN YOU WRITE OR REWRITE MY DOCUMENT?

No. We do not write or rewrite portions of text; however, new approaches and/or ideas that we consider may enhance the document may be suggested.
